Volunteers ages 10-14 years old must have a parent or guardian volunteer with them, 15 and older can volunteer alone.
Any volunteers under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign our waiver prior to their first shift.
We are mainly a cat shelter, though we do accept some small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, hamsters etc). Animal care volunteers are responsible for scooping litter boxes and feeding cats as well as some cleaning duties.
Our animal care shifts are 9am-12noon and 5pm-8pm daily, even during the holidays.
Our preference is that volunteers choose one shift (the same shift) each week.
If you would prefer to work as an event volunteer please fill in an application and note that you are interested
in working events instead of in house animal care.
